Details: SummaryManages the new product introduction process from concept to volume release for dynamic seal technology. Leads development projects which may include overseeing a team of engineers and technicians to conceive, design, develop, test and commercialize new contacting and non-contacting hydrodynamic carbon-face seals & rotors as well as standard contacting carbon-face seal designs for turbine engine and industrial applications.  This includes Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling, 3D CAD modeling and detail drawing generation of product and tooling, development of test plans, evaluation and resolution of technical challenges during manufacturing, as well as supporting quotation and customer service activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. This position is part time/adjunct but is expected to evolve into a full-time capacity.  The Facilitator must be able to work remotely with the main Miami campus in addition to working with the local Art Institute campus.
